Beautiful park, weeds and trail are well maintained. There are obstacles along the trail and it is quite challenging in sections. Hiking with the sights and sounds of the river is awe inspiring. There are many spots where the trail comes close enough that you could have a dip, one section even has steps down.
Close to the pumping station is a camp ground, which costs $5/night (per car I think) with a toilet and BBQs. However no fires are allowed at any time. I plan to come back and have an overnight stay on a warm night.
My only negative is that the road into the park needs some TLC, it's gravel and has many large potholes and eroded sections. If it weren't for that, I'd give it 5 stars. - Carly Jane Added December 14, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ★Simply stunning bush walk. Very quiet, plenty of birds and the creek is beautiful. Camping, toilets and BBQs available though I can't comment as I did not camp.

Its a beautiful spot filled with wonderful plant and bird life. Its a photographers delight. I spent much longer here than I thought. It has facilities such as a electric BBQ and bush tiolets. You can easily spend the day or an overnight stay. Its only $5 a night. It would do with some pot holes been filled in and abit of a clean up but that doesn't distract from its overall beauty and wonder.
